Privacy Policy

Pixel Workout is a workout tracker that keeps your training data on your device. This policy explains what that means in practice, and what limited information the app does share with us.

The short version

Your workout data stays on your device and is never sent to us. The app has no accounts, no ads, and no servers of ours holding your training history. The only thing the app sends anywhere is anonymous usage statistics (which screens are used, which features get tapped) so we can improve the app.

What data the app stores

Pixel Workout stores the data you enter — workouts, sets, exercises, programs, supplement checks, and app settings — in a local database on your device. We never receive a copy: it leaves your device only if you export it yourself, or through your phone's own system backup (see Backups and sharing below).

What we collect

• Anonymous usage analytics. The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to count screen views and feature usage events (for example, "a workout was logged" or "a backup was exported"). This includes a randomly generated app-instance identifier and general device information (model, OS version). It does not include your workout data — no exercise names, weights, reps, notes, or dates you trained are ever transmitted. The identifier is not linked to your identity, the app collects no advertising identifier, and the data is not used to track you across other apps or websites.
• No account or sign-up. The app never asks for your name, email, or any personal information.
• No advertising or cross-app tracking. The app contains no advertising SDKs and no crash-reporting services, and ad personalization is disabled in our analytics configuration.
• Your training data is never transmitted. Logging, streaks, programs, and history all work fully offline.

Backups and sharing

• Backups are created only when you tap Export in Settings. The backup is a file saved where you choose (or shared via the system share sheet). You control where it goes; we never see it.
• Android system backup. On Android, the operating system's own backup service may include this app's data in your device backup, saved to your personal Google account and encrypted with your device credentials. That is an Android feature you control in your phone's settings — we never receive that backup and cannot access it.
• Share cards (the year-grid image) are generated on your device and handed to the system share sheet. Saving a share card to your photos uses an add-only permission on iOS; on Android the app hands the image to the share sheet and never reads your gallery. Either way, the app cannot read your photos.

Notifications

Workout and supplement reminders are local notifications scheduled entirely on your device. They require your permission, which you can revoke at any time in your phone's system settings. No notification data is sent anywhere.

Deleting your data

Your data belongs to you:

• Reset Data in Settings permanently erases everything the app stores.
• Deleting the app from your device also deletes all of its data.

Children's privacy

Pixel Workout does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app changes how data is handled (for example, optional cloud sync), this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be clearly described.
